The Morongo Valley page names bighorn as a corridor species through Big Morongo. They are cliff animals, not yard livestock. Stay on the trail, keep dogs out of the preserve, and give a band the slope. CDFW treats desert bighorn as a conservation subspecies. Wikipedia and CDFW have the status notes.
